Pandemic Influenza Planning
The UNC Center for Public Health Preparedness (UNC-CPHP) was contracted during the H1N1 pandemic to encourage and support the revision of NC local health department pandemic flu plans.  Currently their focus is on supporting Pan Flu COOP (Continuity of Operations Plan) development at the local level.  Hkg Public Health Projects Owner & Consultant, Heather K. Gates, serves as a member of this UNC-CPHP technical assistance/planning support team and works closely with other UNC-CPHP staff, public health agencies and preparedness teams in North Carolina as part of this work.
